Looking for Icebergs
This series began with a set of abstract collages influenced by the shapes and colours from a field trip to Newfoundland in the spring of 2022: these illustrate references to icebergs, sailboats, rocky landforms, stone walls, and houses built on hills. From these collages, I created a series of four paintings, with the objective to create an installation that gave a distinct experience of place.
